Shantel to play famous set at If Performance Hall

DJ Shantel, the Balkan disco sensation behind the 2008 hit “Disco Partizani” and last year’s “Planet Paprika,” will be in the Turkish capital this week for a live set at the If Performance Hall.

 The German DJ, whose real name is Stefan Hantel, will present his unique mix of Balkan tunes in his performance Thursday night. The doors open at 10 p.m., and Shantel will make his appearance at midnight.
